Let’s dance safely! All staff is vaccinated against Covid 19

The large space allows for distancing and ample air flow with 11 windows in The Village Ballroom

I will be taking preventative measures to increase everyone’s safety.

including but not limited to:

- Taking temperatures of every student and staff before entering the studio

- All students and staff are required to wear well fitting masks that covers their mouth and nose. My preference is a 5 layer N95, K95, M95C mask. Please no loose fitting cloth masks that slip down easily, and cloth masks get wet easily and are not as effective.

- Ventilating the studio with ample airflow

-For Classes located at The Village Ballroom-The Ballroom is 2200 Sq feet with 11 large windows to help with air circulation. The air will be disinfected between classes with a SOOKU Electric ULV Fogger, Ultra-Low Atomizer Disinfectant sprayer with a chemical free cleaning solution.

-Classes will be capped to adhere to current regulations.  The same students will be in class weekly and the families health will be closely monitored.

-children will be kept distanced from each other as much as possible and have marking on the floor and in the entry to help keep this distance.

-A weekly Covid health screening questionnaire will be required from each family.

-entering and exit protocols, and more details will be sent out to the registered participants.

  • Class Observation

After many years of teaching experience, I find it is best for students if their parents/guardians are not observing class. Their focus and creative freedom improves in a quiet setting comprised of only the students and the teacher. Parents may observe or assist their child during class in special circumstances only and with prior teacher approval. We invite the parents to observe during scheduled class demonstrations. That being said, I welcome the opportunity to ease your child into an independent class experience with parent+teacher collaboration and support.

  • Class Expectations

To maintain an uninterrupted and creative learning environment we ask that students and parents adhere to the following guidelines:

Arrive to class on time ready to dance in recommended class attire and secured hair.

Remain in class for the full duration without a parent/guardian.

Able to follow simple instructions, listen to and apply direction.

Able to keep a mask on for the duration of the class and use the restroom independently

  • Refund and Rescheduling policy

Refund Policy : all classes offered by Katarina Svetlova

A full refund will be given if requested 5 days prior to the start of the first class. Credit towards another class series will be given if a refund is requested within the 5 day period prior to the start of the first class. Once a series has begun I cannot offer any credits or refunds.

If class is cancelled due to weather, illness, Ballroom scheduling conflict, or Covid safety restrictions, a make up class will be offered. Either in-person or via Zoom in place of any refunds.

There is a chance we will have to reschedule a class at The Village Ballroom due to an events. A make up class will be offered with ample notice.

What we strive for each class!
